The Silver River Museum and Environmental Center is a unique hybrid educational program by the Marion County Public School system. It is located in the Silver River State Park in Ocala, Florida.

The center first consisted of the museum and classroom buildings. Later additions include a library, a pioneer settlement recreation, a lunch area, and a one room schoolhouse modeled one ones used by African-American students during the era of segregation.

The center itself provides educational opportunities for Marion county students, schools staff, and the general population. Topics covered in these events range from studying the cultural and environmental history of the county.

The center is open free of charge to Marion county public school students but admission fees are required for other museum and center visitors.
