Known to many simply as Spongeorama the Spongeorama Sponge Factory is a historic shop and museum that showcases local sponge harvesting history while offering sponge related products and souvenirs.

Located in Tarpon Springs? famous sponge docks, the Spongeorama features a wide display of the natural sponges in that are harvested in the area. Since the Gulf of Mexico is a great location for natural sea sponges, the sponge harvesting industry has become extremely strong in the area. There are several displays illustrating the process of harvesting, processing, and packaging sea sponges. A display of old diving equipment used in the industry is also available.

Aside from the historical displays there also a lot of souvenirs available that are related to the sponge trade and the state of Florida itself.
