A trip to Miami will not be complete without a visit to its famous landmark, the Sun Life Stadium, or popularly known as the Dolphins Stadium.

Sun Life Stadium is a 280-care multi-purpose sports and recreational arena in Miami Gardens, Florida. Several sports teams call this stadium their home. It houses the historic Miami Dolphins of the National Football League, the Florida Marlins of Major League Baseball, and University of Miami Hurricanes of NCAA. Because of this multiple use, the Sun Life Stadium is currently the only stadium to house NCAA, MLB and NFL teams. It has also hosted five Super Bowls, three BCS championship, and two World Series.

The stadium was opened in 1987 under the name ?Joe Robbie Stadium?. Sun Life Financial acquired the naming rights in 2010. Aside from sports events, the site is also used for concerts, conferences and movie shoots.
