The Tampa Bay History Center is a unique educational facility and museum focused on the events and people that shaped the history of the Tampa Bay area. It is located at the old St. Pete Times Forum Drive in Tampa, Florida.

Built by the Hillsborough county commissioner?s historical museum task force in 1998, The Tampa Bay History Center was built to serve the almost three million residents of the Tampa Bay area and the almost fifteen million annual visitors the area receives.

The history center features thousands of precious artifacts in its myriad of exhibits featuring the history of the area. This includes interactive exhibits, theatres and galleries about the first native inhabitants, the Spanish conquistadores, pioneer life, and even local sports legends.
