The Tampa Museum of Art is an art museum in Downtown Tampa, Florida. It is noted for its excellent collection and beautiful location along the banks of Hillsborough River.

The Tampa Museum of Art was opened in 1979, it was housed in what was always seen as a too small of a building to house the museum’s collection. However, it was not until 2010 when the new building was finished. It was quite worth the wait, though, as the structure can be seen as a modern work of art in itself as well.

The Tampa Museum of Art mainly exhibits 20th century fine art, as well as Roman, Etruscan, and Greek antiquities. It is open from June to December, 7 days a week.
