The Tarklin Bayou is a state park in Pensacola, Florida. It is also known as the Tarkiln Bayou Preserve State Park.

Tarkiln Bayou is best noted for being home to four different species of endangered pitcher plants as well as other endangered and rare plant species. The 4290-acre site is filled with unique plant life, with the rare, carnivorous white top pitcher plant that is unique to the area and can only be found around the Mississippi and Apalachicola rivers, can also be found here.

Although, there isn’t a lot of outdoor recreational activities that are allowed to be enjoyed in the Tarkiln Bayou (only wildlife viewing, hiking, and picnicking are allowed), there are still tons to see while around here.
