The Timucuan Ecological and Historic National Preserve is an eco and historic preserve that is also operated as a park in Jacksonville, Florida. It was established in 1988 and offers 46,000 acres of land area.

The Timucuan Ecological and Historic National Preserve is best known for being the home of the Fort Carolina National Memorial and the Kingsley Plantation. They also preserve critical wetland habitats with over 300 privately held pieces of land.

There are tons of things that you can enjoy while at the site. You can always tour the historic sites or access the marine estuarine areas (the Theodore Roosevelt and Cedar Point sections). Activities like photography, birding, hiking, nature observation, as well as museum tours are available as well.
