Located at the Barbara Sumwalt Museum Builiding, the Ueseppa Museum is a small local museum focused on the history of Useppa Island. With almost 10,000 years of history in it, Useppa island truly needed a museum to show off its history and its historical significance in the area.

Located on a private island, visits to the museum must be arranged with the Useppa Island Club. Cruise trips that visit the island like Captiva Cruises often give some time for a museum visit after their scheduled lunch tours. The museum also accepts group visits but these must be scheduled ahead of time and are often not made during the museum?s regular hours as to not disturb regular museum operations hence contacting the museum beforehand is a must.
