If you want to take a walk through history beside a great nature view, then Walter Jones Historical Park is the place for you. The park includes a museum, farmhouse, barn, outbuildings, sawmill, and nature trail. Alongside these, there are beautiful trees and a lovely river, which makes the park great for picnics too. Family and friends gather here for a calm and relaxed bonding moment with one another.

Walter Jones Historical Park originally belonged to Major William Webb, a retired US Army officer. He had a farm back then that produced products such as citrus, vegetables and strawberries that were shipped in various cities. And in the early 1900s, Walter Jones, an immigrant from England, moved his family here. He soon became head of the farm.

Walter Jones Historical Park also holds Florida?s native trees such as magnolia, pine and oak. Bald Cypress trees will lead you down to the serene waters of the St. Johns River. You can walk by the boardwalk and go to the river dock where you will see a painting-like view of the place.
