The Whimzeyland is an offbeat tourist destination in Safety Harbor, Florida. Some may feel skeptic about checking the place out, with most “tourist attractions” nowadays turning to be big tourist traps, but this one is actually interesting. If you’re a fan of the arts and recycling, this could prove to be interesting to you.

Basically, Whimzeyland is a compound filled with bright colors, tiles, and yard sculptures. It is also known as the “Bowling Ball House” mostly for the fact that it is largely decorated with these items. Owned and considered the home of artists Todd Ramquist and Kiaralinda, the Whimzeyland started out on a whim. It wasn’t planned or anything, they just happened to find a stall at a local flea market that’s giving away bowling balls.

The Whimzeyland was already featured in the TV show, MTV Cribs. It is open during the daytime.
