Carabelle, Florida is a small town, with only a total population of 1800. However, what’s more interesting about it is the fact that it is also home to the World’s Smallest Police Station.

Located in the middle of the town, the beginnings of the World’s Smallest Police Station is very interesting. Originally, in 1963, when the local police department was still so small, they had a telephone installed at the post where the station is, built to keep the policemen answering calls shaded from the rain. This is why the station is actually a phone booth.

Not much may have changed in the small town, but nowadays, the World’s Smallest Police Station already brings pride to Carabelle. It has already been featured in several TV shows in the past, which isn’t really nothing.
