St. Augustine is best known for its rich history, which is a couple of centuries old already. This is why a site like the Ximenez-Fatio House is just natural to be found here, if not expected. Also known as the Ximenez-Fatio House Museum, the site is a historic property and museum that represents a boarding house from the Florida Territory period.

Dubbed as one of the city?s most authentic historic properties, the Ximenez-Fatio House is a museum complex, located in the country?s first platted thoroughfare, Aviles Street. It was built around the late 1700s to early 1800s and is composed of the main house (1802 Wash House) and a 1798 coquina stone house, which is also the region?s only detached coquina kitchen structure.
