The Yellow Bluff Fort Historic State Park is a state park and historic area in Jacksonville, Florida. It is best known for its authentic reproduction of Union and Confederate troop encampment.

Although, the Yellow Bluff Fort Historic State Park?s name is quite a misnomer as the site was never made into a fort, technically, the site still bore the name of the fortified encampment that was equipped with large guns. The site was built in 1862 and was used by both Confederate and Union Troops in protection of the St. Johns River.

Picnicking is the best known recreational activity at the site. This will give you an opportunity to picnic in a reproduction of a Union and Confederate troop encampment used in the Civil war.
