The Yellow River Marsh is a state park and preserver in Holt, Florida. It is best known for being the home of one of the state?s last remaining tracts of wet prairie. It is also home to the largest community of pitcher plants in all of Florida.

If the fact that the carnivorous pitcher plant grows in abundance in the Yellow River Marsh Preserve does not entice you to at least check out the site, maybe the fact that it is also home to several more endangered and rare species of animal will. About 20 different species of flora and fauna that are considered rare and endangered can be found here, enticing everyone interested in this field of study and expertise to come visit.
