I ran a foreign car repair shop there for years. Finished school there in early '60s. With all respect, the University controlled what 'went on' in Auburn. Today, every available acre has 10 acres of 'student only' appartments/condos crammed on it. IF Auburn showed as much interest in education as it does football, the best students in the world would be finishing at Auburn. At least, they finally quit giving the players a free education, like they did when I was there. Even with all that, I still love the place as well as the place we have in Macon Co.
