Beers in Alabama

Can you list some Alabama breweries. I volunteer with the Great American Beer Festival,
but haven't seen any Alabama beer. I am familiar with Magnolia Brewery in Mississippi, but thats as close as I can get.

I don't live in Alabama anymore, but I do know of Back 40 Beer Co., and I believe the other is called Good People.

if you check out the brewers guild link in the OP, the members of the guild are there except for YellowHammer in Huntsville.
there is also Avondale brewing (brewery in planning) in Birmingham and Back Forty is supposed to begin brewing their own beer in 2011

Good People brews out of Birmingham, but I think they only distribute locally.

There are at least four breweries in the Huntsville area. Olde Town, Straight to Ale, Blue Pants Brewery, and a new one. cant remember name. all good brews too..great variety.

Yes, that is the one. Thanks. I haven't tasted anything from them yet. The Nook, a local pub, located on Bob Wallace Ave offers a TON of craft brews from all over the country. Normally they feature a local one on Mondays. If you visit stop by and check out their variety. I think they have something in the area of 300+ varieties of beer. Take me awhile to taste all of them.
