Casa de Benavidez

I just visited my friend in Albuquerque and I wanted a taste of some good new Mexican cuisine. We went to Casa de Benavidez and it was decent. The food was good, the service was lacking. Is there anything better in Albuquerque? She just moved there so we are trying to learn the ropes!

If I lived there I would chime in with some recommendations.

That's not to say I will never visit there though, so I too would like to hear about some off beat hot spots with character and fine dining down there.
