its kind of weather dependant. the road didnt open till late spring last year cause it snowed so bad. ill be in college at the time we go but im putting money away now for the trip. im thinking end of april early may. i think that would be the safe zone. hell throw out what weekends you dont have the kids and ill pick one of those! lol ive been waiting for someone to say "well, i can only go on this weekend" so i can use that as a start point. then from there try and work everyone to that date or one really close to it.

I need to get a 2011 calender for that. I will have no problem for that run that far in advance, I will even have the jeep ready.

sweet deal. i better have mine ready. im going to college in prescott so the xj needs to get ready for a little snow duty. new front drive shaft. all terrains tune up. the only reason i would be stopped from going is. its at 311k miles and climbing fast. but i have faith in that little 4.0

yes indeed, forgot about that. i will gather up a few now and post them here.

scratch that...started uploading what i have on photobucket and it is taking FOREVERRRR 30 mins for 30 photos? really....
i used to have HUNDREDS of photos from up there but my hard drive crashed and i havent been able to attempt at recovering the data yet...would be nice. for now i only have a few. ill get them up in the morning.

basically most of the road you are on the cliffs edge on the western side. its very breathtaking. towards payson you are back away from it more.
