Arizona wild Burros

Burros were brought into AZ first by Spanish/Mexican explorers settlers etc., but these were brought in by miners/prostectors and accidently released. Now their descendants are out here on the desert wild.

Tohono O'odham (the Desert People) call them Burros too, their tortillas are as big as 55 gal drum lid and hold red chili wiht no leaks. Burrito is spanish for small Burro....

I am rather familiar with some of their customs and whatnot. If you remember the '3 Points General Store' (aka Papago Trading Post) and the store that was in Sells (before it shut down) our paths may have crossed

Don't know much about the native American tribes mentioned. Don't know about the Yaqui or Opatas either. I do know about them big real real thin tortillas harinas Sonora style though or the tortillas mais down round Tubac way cooked over open mesquite fires and served with carne chiva, frijoles y salsa. DANG! now I gotta go EAT!!

I think we discussed this before, your fmaily ran the stores right? I worked for the Nation for ten years building houses in the boonies and what not....nothin like a us surplus spam/tater burro with mustard mmmmmm really
