Oh yeah, that guy is gone.

It's a shame Hot Shots and subsequent Hot Shots Part Deux are two of the finest movies already made.

Charlie Sheen gets 600,000 Twitter followers in 8 hours

Charlie Sheen has taken to Twitter in the latest stage of his bizarre publicity campaign, launched after production of his sitcom was cancelled.

11:23AM GMT 02 Mar 2011 8 Comments

In just 8 hours the actor has attracted more than 600,000 followers, helped by endorsements from the rapper P Diddy and the boxer Floyd Mayweather.

In his first tweet, Mr Sheen, 45, wrote: "Winning..! Choose your Vice..."

Alongside the message, he posted a picture of himself and the pornography actress Bree Olsen with what appear to be bottles of chocolate milk and pineapple juice.

He later said: "My sons are fine... My path is now clear... Defeat is not an option..!"

The troubled actor is expected to gather 1 million followers - one day after launching his account. A day after launching his Twitter account, Charlie Sheen could very well attract 1 million followers (as of early Wednesday afternoon, he had already cracked the 900,000 mark).

But, why cancel the show?

The show opens with Charlie having gone out partying with two hotties, leaving his brother Alan and his nephew Jake home for the evening. Alan and Jake discuss Charlie and his behavior being somewhat destructive and they retire for the evening, knowing Charlie will be late coming home.

Around 2AM the phone rings and is is the hospital administration advising Alan that Charlie has been in a severe automobile accident. Alan and Jake go to the hospital and are not allowed into Charlie's room as he is in ICU, post surgery. Charlie and Alan's mother arrives and the three sit in the waiting room and talk about Charlie and everything he has done. Injected are flashbacks of previous episodes, but none with Sheen in the clip.

The doctor comes out and explains that Charlie didn't make it. Sheen is written out of the show. Charlie leaves his beach house and all of his wealth to Alan and Jake. At the close of the show, Seth Green is introduced as Alan and Charlie's step brother. He is penniless, has no job, no future, flunked out of school, is a bad example for Jake and an all around pain in the a$$ for Alan. Green moves into the beach house and Alan begins to reflect on what Charlie used to go through when dealing with him.

The show stays 2 1/2 Men, with a twist.

Thank you, send Sheen's monthly salary to me!!

Charlie Sheen Fired From 'Two and a Half Men'

Quote:
today, Warner Bros. fired Sheen from TV's No. 1 comedy, "Two and a Half Men."
Quote:
"After careful consideration, Warner Bros. Television has terminated Charlie Sheen's services on 'Two and a Half Men' effective immediately," Warner Bros. said in an email statement.

CBS, the network that airs "Two and a Half Men," declined to comment.

Sheen responded to the news of his job loss in a statement to TMZ.com:

"This is very good news," he said. "They continue to be in breach, like so many whales. It is a big day of gladness at the Sober Valley Lodge because now I can take all of the bazillions, never have to look at [expletive] again and I never have to put on those silly shirts for as long as this warlock exists in the terrestrial dimension."

Since 2003, Sheen had starred in the sitcom as Charlie Harper, a playboy who mimicked Sheen's real life persona. Last year, he reportedly inked a deal to make $2 million per episode.

Everything he says now is crazy.

"I never have to put on those silly shirts for as long as this warlock exists in the terrestrial dimension."

I say some crazy stuff, but come on.
