Chinese movies

Do you think you will like Chinese movies? They just built a huge new studio to produce movies and have bought AMC cinema which has 4800 screens in the US

Do they make any besides Kung Fu Fighting?

They do and you will.

I've been following Asian cinema most of my life, Chinese, Japanese and Korean to be more precise.

They have a different set of stories to draw from, so we will see some unique stores coming out of the far east.

Korean's especially seem to love horror, so they do some really great work in the genre.

There are movies that they don't allow to be played in China because of content. You have to wonder if they will have the same restrictions on movies they produce.

I'm guessing it is similar to the huge movie studio in Ensenada, Mexico. It brings in many tourist and workers dollars, and no EPA, labor, OSHA, or SPCA (animal) regulations. Most also don't realize that most of the blockbuster "Titanic" was filmed there.

Do you figure they will make counterfeit copies of their own movies?

They have in the past. It's one of the reasons a lot of Chinese movies are produced in Hong Kong. They are edited and sent back to China, then release to an international audience.

As they progress so will their art.
