Back in the 1970s I had read once that it took about six weeks from the time a cartoonist drew his comic strip to it being published in the newspaper. That time has obviously shortened due to the Internet, but it was really obvious this past week with the warnings about the northeastern American blizzard known as Jonas. There hadn't been a lot of comic strip mentions about winter so far this year, but they appeared everywhere last week and are still being seen this week. These are the ones I've found so far.
On a related note, did anyone else notice this little detail about Jonas?
