Green Lantern . . .the movie

Anybody see this yet? I saw it with my grandson who LOVED it. The effects were awesome. (it's 3D) Not real impressed other than that.

remember Superman 1? Good guy gets power, good guy meets worst foe ever, good guy hard pressed to find a way to beat but eventually does, good guy gets girl. That's about it. ha ha, pretty much predictable all the way through. If you have kids, they will LOVE it.

I know of the Green Lantern but never read it. He was involved in the Superman Doomsdoay fight when they killed of Superman before they made it needlessly complicated and chased of their lesser fan base.

I'd like to see this, but again, I can't watch 3D movies. It seems as though they have become the end all be all nowadays. It sucks.

I've been seeing articles about the decline of 3d and how a lot of films the 2d is doing better.

I like 3d, but I get tired of it being the only reason to see something.
