Moonshiners

Anyone watch Moonshiners on Discovery? I'm addicted to hillbilly life thanks to the Discovery channel.

Anyway, as a homebrewer, I'm particularly fascinated by Moonshiners. I definitely see the art in it, and am definitely rooting for the moonshiners and against the "law".

I like hillbilly living.

Can't get into that show though.

Now Ax Men on the other hand.

I get too involved looking for my long lost relatives instead of watching the Moonshiners story line.

Ax Men looks good! I'll have to catch an episode of that. I also watch Swamp People. I watched a little of Swamp Men, but couldn't even get through one episode.

What about Big Shrimpin? I am just worried that I don't have enough time to watch all of these....

I think I have to change the title of this thread to "Hillbilly Shows on Discovery"

I watched moonshiners. it was entertaining, although I think it is fake. The Tickle guy needs to cut back on the booze.

Yeah, Tickle is a tool. I'm surprised Tim keeps him around.

Something is definitely fishy. Moonshiners are so paranoid about getting caught, why would someone just let Discovery Channel camera crews follow them around doing stuff that would get them sent to jail? Tim keeps talking about going legit; my theory is that he already has a license, and is showing the camera crew how you would do it if you were doing it illegally, but he's not really.

Ax Men is good if you like seeing people get angry and cut down trees.

I like Swamp People. I've always wanted to hunt alligators so I'm living my dream through them.

I've been watching Ax Men. Awesome show! Between Coksey (or however you spell his name) and that super crazy dude with the jet boat, it's about the best reality show I've seen.

I like them both.

Crazy boat guy is super crazy.

I have a hard time believing some of his antics, but they fall in line with everything else I've seen.
