All I read is Sci Fi. And Blade Runner, I've seen that at least a dozen times. Anyone seen Real Steel? Great Sci Fi movie.

Great family movie. A little cussing, but what you might expect from the 11 year old star.

So then it's realistic? Every 11 year old I know is foul mouthed to no end.

I wrote a short story about 20 years ago. Several people have told me it's good, but I really don't know what to do with it. It needs to be fleshed out, but I just haven't done it. Maybe someday. I was reading Philip K Dick at the time, so I suppose it's kinda in his style.

The Santaroga Barrier is a great book.
I've never read Dune in it's entirety but very much want to.

I was reading a bunch of Arthur C. Clarke recently, and found it fascinating how naive we as a species were less than one hundred years ago.
So many things that were considered flights of fancy or outright nonsense in the 20th century are now basically taken for granted.
I'm surprised no one has mentioned the owner of the term 'robotics' yet. Isaac Asimov.

Anyone else ever read the old Edgar Rice Burroughs books?
