Hesse fan as well?

I have two books of his I have yet to read.

Journey to the East and Magister Ludi.

I don't know why I'm not reading them. I think I feel a sense of remorse in that they are the last two.

He fundamentally changed the way I saw my world and led me down a path of understanding, both of myself and others at a very young age.

I am grateful for the lessons learned from it.

It was also a connecting point for my father and I, although it seemed he never got as much out of it as I did.

I want to say I started with Peter Camenzind, it stands out in my head very vividly but the reality is it was more than likely Siddhartha.

Well, I just finished Warlord by Ted Bell and it was fun right to the last page. I will be looking for more of his novels.

Not a classic or anything along those lines, but a very entertaining action adventure story with a likable bunch of heroes.

Just started Gone Tomorrow by Lee Child. His Jack Reacher series is really really excellent reading if you like pure escapist gold that's hard to put down.

I don't read all that fast, I just tend to stay up late at night reading alot. I suffer from sleep deprivation as a result.
