Stone Mountain

Anyone ever hike it? I figure the days are numbered before the haze rolls in.

Yes been climbing the mountain for years you can take the walk up trail near the entrance in the city of Stone Mountain or you can climb the back side.

As far as the haze you just have to climb after a cold front has come thur they usually don't stop until late May or early June and start again in late Aug or early Sept.

can you really "climb" stone mountain? I always thought there was just the walking trail. And by climb I assume you mean with ropes and caribeaners and stuff.
