There is. The location on Burnet closed down, then moved north on Burnet about two miles. It used to be Curra's grill.

Wife and I had it the other night. Not a big fan.
I have only been here a year but La Condesa downtown is amazing. Super expensive but my god is it good.

Not a big Mangia's fan either esp. for the price. Too doughy.

I love Mangia but you are right, to expensive. Also the experience differs form restaurant to restaurant. What's good at one can be bad at the other.

I used to be an Assistant Manager over at the Mesa (and Guadalupe) location. That was a cool store to work for. The owner Jeff would take the time to learn people's names and treated you like you were a human being, not just an employee. I sat down many nights and had good conversations with him.
What did you get? The Mesa location has a lot of old timers working the day, but new kids at night, I changed it up when I was there, but they switched it back right after my transfer.
I always enjoyed restaurant management.
