I like Rudy's but if you're willing to drive a little outside of Austin, then definitely Salt Lick in Dripping Springs.

Rudy's meat isnt all that great so you have to cover it in that high calorie and fat sauce.


and saltlick is pretty awesome, use to work there.

Austin BBQ

I must admit I find myself going to the County Line more often than not. Its as much a nostalgia trip as anything as we used to always go to the one in Lubbock after Texas and Texas Tech football games.

County Line is great. Absolutely no complaints at all there. Great Potato Salad!

The location along the River on 2222 is super nice as well.
