Places to eat off of Riverside

I'm meeting up with my brother and his friends for dinner, anyone have any recommendations for anyhting near Riverside? There is a Giggling Goat stand right?

There is a really nice Indian place that has a buffet. just right by the HEB.
up on oltorf there is a small chinese place in a small inlet near oltorf. otherwise not a great place except for mexican.
I would try across the river and check on the austinchronicle to see what they recommend

I saw that and thought about it. We are going to start getting together regularly, so I'm thinking it best to have a wide variety of places to check out.

For the first time in a few weeks, they are coming down here to San Marcos tonight.
