85 Cherokee Power Brake Booster

Has anyone done troubleshooting on or replaced the power brake booster on a Cherokee? Mine is an 85 2.5L gas Laredo. It has been sitting for several years due to wiring problems. I bought it new but the factory added a free sun roof which began to leak and as a result all wiring connectors corroded and the headliner rotted. I kept fighting the leaks but they would get ahead of me. Now I have it rewired and the power brakes don't work.
