here's a website: fordcummins.com - Increase Horsepower with Ford Cummins Diesel conversion kits
Thanks for the info! A tempting prospect, for sure!

Cummings is a well respected name, Dodge...not so much. So can a Cummings/Allison combo be put in a newer Ford? I wouldn't mind working the deal, but what are the roadblocks?
Ford made the 7.3 all the way into 03 so you're still in your range there.

A Ford chassis/Cummins motor/Allison trans truck would be the tits. Totally possible, but will be helluva lot of work.

If anyone is interested in a Toyota Turbo Diesel let me know. A long time friend passed away, so his 1991 Toyota Land Cruiser 12v Turbo Diesel needs to be sold. Also a half-cut with a 24v Toyota engine. If I had the money, I would buy one or both, but ...

I drove the 91 and it is quite different than a gas vehicle, much better fuel economy and much nicer on 4wd roads.

Hoods, just the stick on Lund Scoops.

At 15K miles, turbo went out, replaced with new, and just last March, found oil leak, bed plate seal was the problem. Got it done right as the 5yr/100K warranty expired!!! Pulled the engine, fixed that problem, and they put ARP head studs in too, so headgasket problem should be solved. I have 54K miles on her now...

My baby's heart..

This one was also in there the same time getting head gaskets fixed too.
