Holy Smucker's sugarless grape jelly, what happened here to this thread!?!

Are we talkin Shelby racers or dirty rotten wienersnitzles wrecking our worn out 5.0's? I knew a guy who had a hot Dodge that thought he could out run a Calipatrol 5.0. That didn't work out for him, them CHP's don't have a sense of humor at all.

I didn't have a 302 for 1, I had a 351. And it wasn't worn out either.

I could have out run CHP with no problem. They had nothing on me.

He has pending charges of sexual assault from his recently laid off assistant. He says he laid her off because he's getting older and no longer needs her to do things. She claims he laid her off after a co-worker raped her and Shelby, himself, assaulted her.

I'm glad I am not rich, a starlet, famous, etc. Seems these are the qualifications for lawsuits these days. Any one with money is a target. It's sad really. He's in his 80's. Why would you let someone who is so old and fragile assault you? Would you not break his hip? I find this very hard to believe.

Think he did it?

Some people will do anything for a few bucks, Britney.

Call me a cynical nutcase but this sure sounds like a tired rerun of the Dominique Strauss-Kahn attack scenario.

I did it through sneakiness. I was going (speeding really) into Reading PA when a Dodge Challenger pulled up on my right and and floored it. We were in very light 8PM traffic and hit 80 in seconds when the Dodge sideswipped at least three parked cars just as a Reading cop passed us in the opposite direction.

I decided my 5 second race was going to get a great deal of attention thanks to the Dodge driver. I had a 390 Merc under me and I never came off the gas. The cop had to drive two blocks before he could do a Uturn so I figured I had a 30 second lead. I continued straight as long as he could see me in his mirror but took a right as soon as I could and headed for a rural road leading into the country. Just past a few factories the road veered right over a bridge and there was a Y a block further I guessed the cop knew would complicate his chase but a radio would and could easily solve.

Instead I took a hairy reverse left onto Fritz's Island and the water treatment plant and hid between two mountains of sludge with no lights on. It was a half hour before all the sirens faded out and I waited another quarter hour before heading home.

If I owned a home I'd love this hidden garage.
