Friend and I threw on some backpacks, took off on the bikes and ended up in the mountains awhile back. This was one of the few picks I took. It was at our campsite.

Solitude...

I'd rather have a dedicated dirt bike (in my case CR500) and a dedicated street bike (in my case a Harley)
But some of the KTM dual sport bikes sure are nice.......I just can't convince myself to ride a 4 stroke dirt bike though. When they make one as fast as my CR500 maybe I'll be convinced.

Cuzican, Unfortunately, out here in Cali a lot of the great places to ride are closed to unlicensed vehicles. No plate = no ride.....that's one reason they are popular out here. Many of have dirt dedicated bikes as well.

Seeing these pics makes me regret this, but I have a 2000 Honda XR650l that I need to sell. I just don't have the time to enjoy it.. The motor was rebuilt with a high compression piston and performance cam shaft. exhaust, intake, jetted. I'm asking $2500 and located in Maryland. PM if interested! Thanks!

Teaberry Eagle - thanks for posting all of these links and information about Simon and Monika. I am so impressed and completely jealous of them. I want to do that!!! I have people coming to my house this weekend to ride if the weather cooperates ... after seeing this I'm going to be completely dissatisfied with all the beautiful rides I live in

Now I really want to quit work for a few months and ride the world.

What Fun

teaberryeagle; Sir, thanks for sharing wow;

I'll get the ''mtngirl''; and yourself; and we can go global; with riding passion.

Sir, she has more than proven her toughness; {jumps outta airplanes; then muscles on the vertical pole} kick our collective 'a$$'$$$; then 'rides motorbikes''

What a trip; with adventures, excitement, thrills

I'm all in

My husband and I enjoy riding our dual sport motorcycles. I have a KLX250s and a Husky SM610. He has a Honda CRF230L and a BMW G650 X-Country. Here they are:
