I almost got excited

When I saw gas at $3.33 a gallon. Then I recalled how much it was just a short three years ago and my happy bubble was gone.

Gas is outrageous. OUT-EFFING-RAGEOUS!

Why is it so expensive?

I am at a loss here while I get 15 mpg, downhill, WITH a tail wind.

When I bought my truck, I could easily afford to drive it. I was even making several dollars LESS an hour than I am now. It's to the point where I can either have lunch, or put gas in my truck. Since I have bills, my truck usually get my lunch money.

Anyone else at their wit's end with this gas price gouging going on?

Yup. My Jeep gets 14mpg with a good tail wind. it costs me $60 easily to fill up my tank every week.

I get excited when the price comes down below 1.30 a liter.
3.8 liters to the gallon @ 1.30 = 4.94 per gallon.
Talk about getting hosed!

I'd be dancing in the streets if it got down to $3.33, the lowest we have here is
$3.79, and that's Costco and AM/PM. Glad I bought an old Escort a year ago to commute (32mpg) so I can let my 15 mpg truck rest.
