Exactly!! I use to be partial to Chevys too but the F-100 really is a cool looking truck, and I love the old Dodges too ... you said it perfectly, "there's nothin like old trucks"... I can't wait until I get one. Just gotta find that money tree first!!

Speaking of old 'American' trucks: remember that both Australia and especially South Africa also had C10's, F100's, etc. but with the steering wheel on the right hand side.

There are a couple of Apaches near me but they are only seen at shows 99% of the time. Low mileage and original to boot!

This was one of mine. I had it trailered in because a storm tore the hood off, wrecked the distributor and trashed the entire interior. It is a 78 chevy short wide box. I built the engine myself and was pushing in the neighborhood of 500 ponies. I horse traded it for a deck. I am a disabled veteran and the work I do all day made it impossible for me to work on this truck anymore. Too much pain and money.

The problems I have with those who own these rigs are as follows, 1. most of them cant drive them like they were meant to be driven, 2. far too many of these people cant even work on their own equipment, 3. I want them all and cant have any of them.
