Here is the truck I just traded for a newer model. This was my 1988 Ford F-150 4x4. Had the fuel injected 300. It was a nightmare engine wise as the old OBD1 engine computer sucked.

For me it doesn't get much better than my dad's 76 F100, which'll be mine when I get out of the Corps!

This isn't it, but just so you get an idea of style

Here's my old '77 F100. 351M/C6/9"

Tried and tried to sell it, but no one wanted it so i scrapped it. I really didn't want to, but my parents said it had to get off their property and i didn't have anywhere else to put it...

My boss also has a '41 Chevy pickup, and we've got several old truck at the farm just rusting apart...

Wow I definitely would've bought that. At least for the decent body, if nothing else. My dad and I bought his from a guy using it as a DD hah. Now my dad drives it once or twice a week around Cleveland, OH - he always gets weird looks. It's got no power steering, either!

Love your trucks! I just have a hard time considering anything in the 70s or newer to be old ... only because that would make me old

Thanks for posting. I'm looking everywhere for the truck I'll get and I'm getting some good ideas from you all.

WOW that '77 F-100 was amazing! It's a shame you had to scrap it but sometimes ya gotta do what ya gotta do.
