Hah, that's the story with 90% of my projects - I just get bored and end up selling it

I'd love to find a Traveller diesel! It's kind of a shame they have a Nissan engine, but they are pretty bulletproof. It's more of a shame that the Scout sheetmetal is so susceptible to the tinworm.

My father had a '79 II w/the 345. Two-tone orange and white, white top, orange and black plaid interior, AC, dealer installed dual exhaust that was handed down from my grandfather who bought it new. My father had it for exactly 3 weeks when it was totaled while in the dealer's possession for a recurring brake issue. (Went head-on with a box truck while out trying to repeat the brake issue. ) I wanted that truck since the day my grandfather brought it home and it got to one step away...

Closest pic I can find is this '75. "Ours" had the white down the middle and was a split bench.

I had a '69 Scout 800 that ignored all of my attempts to solidify it and just about vaporized. Sadly it came at a time when I didn't have the money to do do things right.

If I ever get a Scout I'm dropping a 6.9 diesel in it.
