If you are referring to mine, it has a Buick 350, Turbo 400 trans and a welded full cage. Rear bars unbolt to remove half cab. It also has quite a few dents and some rust . Needs a lot of work right now.

Did you do the conversion work yourself, Brewbud?

I've been researching an engine upgrade for my '86 CJ-7 for about a year now. Whenever I finally make up my mind, someone comes along with a "better idea" to add to the confusion.

Also, another major problem is finding a shop and/or individual willing and capable of doing the work properly.
