And ya I'm sure could get the chics with it. Maybe that's why u don't get to drive it much. O that's and the fact that I was close to loosing my license last time.
It's got twin turbos and drops 913 house at the drives. But I can promise it will do 209 mph. With 1/2 throttle left.

My first car ever was a 76 Super Beetle. Metallic lime green with a manual crank sun roof and a nice Blaupunkt sound system. I really loved that car.
My "super beetle" was gold (purchased it sometime in the 70's) and I loved it, also. Folks at my VW dealer never heard of a Super Beetle.......they have a photo of a standard VW on their wall.....Was letting my daughter drive mine to school and found out later that she was doing "donuts" on the school ground for her classmates......thought I had better go ahead and sell it before she wrecked it....
I swear my dad has that 76 - it looks exactly like it!
That's a great coincidence and that you are able to see it again....I gave it to "My" "Dad" and he drove it until he passed away in June, 1989. He had given it back to me and I drove it for a few more years....Here's another photo of it with my dad and brother.
