So I just got my Jeep Cherokee back after another guy having it for a few months, long story.
Anyhow, he drove it about 3,000 miles. Has Mickey Thompson Baja MTZ's on it. 32X11.5 I believe.
I give it to him with the front and rear tires both at about 80-85%, good, knobby tread.
I get it back and no joke the tires look like they're at 30-40% at best, while the backs are still at 70-80%. Clearly he never rotated them, but are the fronts really supposed to wear that much more than the fronts? I've never seen anything like it.
Would bad alignment cause something like this?

I'm not up on Cherokees so much but, is it full time 4X or select? If it isn't full time, it's possible he was a burnout wanker and then rotated the bald ones to the front..
I apologize in advance if I have offended any burnout wankers..
The front tires' wear is even - I did a backyard alignment after the lift. And no, selective 4-wheel drive, not full time.
Just simply the front ones wore down WAY faster than the back ones. I've googled quite a bit and couldn't really find anything, so seeing if anyone had any insight.

hah that's what I originally thought, but they're the front tires! Just driving normally, it only uses the back ones! So unless he was jumpin out and manually "burning out" his front tires, I'm stuck.
