Oh, and I have since put on a two-piece hard top and removed the rear seat. Put on some better tires but not any bigger ones yet. The Jeep is my only vehicle so it has to be semi practical on the highway also (for now). Doesn't stop me from taking it on logging trails once in a while.
Ia m, JeepDen here and on the Jeep forum. My wife and I are real estate shopping in PA and one of my criteria is to be near good off-roading. Any suggestions?

Hardcore or trails? Real estate prices are pretty good in my area right now, and some of the dirt roads around here could be considered as "off roading". We run a lot of logging and forest roads, but we enjoy the wildlife as much as "wheelin'".
I live on the western border of PA north of I-80. We have Yankee Lake Truck Night just over the line in Ohio. This is a great place to take your Jeep. I think they have a website. The mudpit has a money prize and last I heard it was up to 8 grand. We also have a group in NE Ohio not far from here that has miles and miles of trails. The manager of Orwell Tire in Orwell, OH has all the info.
