Favorite Night Spots outside of Boston

I'm the Norwood area, I always enjoy the BBC, british beer company. I know that the yard house just opened up, which is ok. Any other nearby spots I should know about. Obviously, decent cocktails are a requirement.

And I'm also interested in German food - I know boston has Jacob Wirth's, but anyone know of any others?

Ever try Deep Ellum? I think it would be up your alley if you like beer.

I really like Lord Hobo near Inman Square. A little pricey but a very cool venue for good unusual drinks you won't find to many other places and good, but pricey food.
