Best brewpub?

I am visiting a friend this summer and was wondering which establishment has the better beer: Hops or Sarasota Brewing Company? I would also take any recommendations on places with good craft/microbrew selections, or any brewpubs other then the two I have listed. Thanks in advance.

Sorry I cant speak for SAC but Hops had some Hammerhead Red that would hard to beat.

I'd say check out the Cock and Bull Pub on Cattleman Road and Palmer. It has a large selection and really cool atmosphere.

also if you want a brewery pub, then I have heard there is a place over on Lemon Ave where the old Rustic Grill used to be. It is supposedly a micro brewery and he has a few standard beers, then he makes seasonals also.

I don't know the name, but it right near the corner of Fruitville and Lemon behind Station 400.

You should check out Mr. Beerys is Gulf Gate, 15+ taps and Shamrock, 12 taps dive bar atmosphere but always friendly.

Thanks for the suggestions. Mr. Beery's has a pretty cool website, but I may have to hit the Shamrock by myself. I love dive bars, my wife on the other hand....

If you have an Iphone you can download Mr. Beerys app. It tells you whats on tap. They keep it pretty up to date. Enjoy
