You're not missing much. I may tie into a roof antenna and just go with free TV soon.

I was in my thirties and still had never owned a TV. GF moved in and her TV came with her. I courteously tried to watch a bit with her but always fell asleep.
Two years later out goes the GF and I develop acute insomnia. I buy a tiny TV and sleep returns. Tools come in strange shapes.

Are the downloads as fast as they advertise or are you renting DVD's? I'd been renting 3 or 4 movies a week from Redbox but the quality went way down about the time medical bills caused a radical cutback in income. I haven't rented anything in 15 months and rarely miss it.
I have several years of reading already stored on my Kindle.

Yeah they are really good. All I do is stream, and its only $8 a month which beats cable hands down. My wifes sister rents dvds from netflix all the time and they are awesome about that also. to stream and get dvds its $10 a month. And it is all unlimited. So all you pay is for the subscription you have.

Stream only - $8/month

Stream and DVD rentals - $10/month

Way cheaper than I'd have guessed. Problem is I went back to dialup last year and I think I'd better get used to it. I need something like this.
