Just be safe about whatever you're gonna try with your new jeep. Try to find some other jeepers to go wheeling with, get some recover equipment and know how to use it, pack some first aid and survival gear, etc. In other words be prepared and don't try something stupid like solo-ing a difficult trail out in the boonies on a Tuesday. Enjoy your new jeep!
You can always stop by the visitor's center that is on the "north" side of the lake. The rangers have maps available and can give you info on the trails.
The best bet is for you to get in touch with a local jeep club, they will know of all the trails in your area. Plus get on some jeep forums Wranglerforum.com, myjeeprocks.com, jeepforum.com etc. You can find people there that you can hook up with for trails a bit farther out from you. Here in SoCal we have hundreds of places to enjoy.
