Big Bear area

Figured I grew up there so I should toss it out there. It is one of the best local vacation spots in So Cal. Big Bear has it's lake, offroad trails, mines and old things to check out and it ski resorts.l Has all four seasons and is just an awesome place to visit.

I love the whole area up there. Plus, there is a lot of hiking that can be done. I have been to San Gorgonio twice and stood on both San Bernardino peaks. My family lives in Crestline. It's just such a beautiful area, there is a lot to do and see.

The mines are all over the place just stop by the discovery center and grab a map, it will point them all out abd there is also the Lucky Baldwin mines that are still up.

Holcomb Valley road (I think that's what they call it), otherwise I know it as 3N16 has a couple directly off of it.
