"Gold Country"
I've spent quite some time in the foothills of Northern Cali, AMAZING. Beauty everywhere. Lakes all over. Sonora is the cutest little town surrounded by Murpheys and Angels camp. Murpheys Hotel has an amazing dining room with an inventive menu as well

Almost all the gold towns up and down SR 49 are awesome. Murpheys is very cool! Our daughter got married @ Ironstone vineyards just out side of Murpheys. Beautiful place! They have one of the biggests gold nuggets on display there ever found. Way cool!.
