Redding
My Family and I love it in Redding! Everything a big city has to offer, yet still small enough to raise a family with lots of recreational activities.

I've been there several times, and agree that it's nice, but it's too hot for me in the summer. Last time I was there it was 105. is that normal?

Yes 105 is normal for the summer. But you have options which we love. Several hours to the coast or 30 minutes to the mountains and your in the 60-70s, or better yet visit Lake Shasta!
