Best places to eat and sleep in BC

I travel lots, so figure this would be a good thread to get ideas of where to eat, and accomodations that are good all over BC.

Did you stay at the resort there?
It is nice for sure.

Some of the best food i have had in a long time was here.

The Burner Bar and Grill

Its on the south side of the Trans Canada HWY #1. About a 15 minute drive after you leave Sicamous, heading east towards Revelstoke.
Have the Burner burger if you want the best burger ever.

That looks like a really great place. Can't hurt to have Rick Mercer in one of the pics either.

Thanks for the link. If I every get out west and drive through that area, it's on my list!

Check out lorenzoscafe.com for great live music, drinks and food in the spring/summer. It's an old schoolhouse back in the woods of Ashton Creek BC. Have seen many great acts there, from Corb Lund to Xaviar Rudd. Trippy place to be!

Its about 5 minutes west of Revelstoke, and while I have only eaten there twice, both times the food and staff were awesome.
Its called the Great white north, and they even have a cool gondola to take drinks upstairs when its super busy.
Its well worth stopping at to eat, just ignore the outside, i looks a little run down outside, but the food is amazing.

Keep em coming. This is the kind of info I'm looking for when I plan a trip. I haven't been out west yet, but it's in the works. The Burner is on my A list.
